Yacht Watch Service

Kota Kinabalu

For piece of mind when leaving your boat  unattended.

[ Home ] Sutera Harbour Marina ] Yachts - Serviced ] Service Fees ]

Kota Kinabalu has become a popular stop over port for Yachtsmen travelling from Australia and New Zealand and other parts of Asia. The main marina at the moment is  at Sutera Harbour, which offers protected berths with water and electricity. and 24 hour security.

I started a trial service at the end of last year to provide a more personal service, such as keeping your yacht shipshape and ready for your return, checking for leaks and damage, interior and exterior and reporting on a monthly basis.

I can also provide advice on shore excursions and assist with the location of spares, which can be tricky to source.

I have lived or worked near the sea for most of my life, having been born on a motor Yacht moored in Christchurch Harbour, UK.

I attend a Nautical college, spent 5 years in the Royal Navy before working as a sailing Instructor. I have also worked for Marine Salvage company and been a Marine consultant for an a North Sea Oil company.

I am a retired Shipbroker,  Adventure Racer  and a Personal Member of the Royal Yachting Association and live a few hundred yards away from Sutera Harbour Marina, Golf and Country Club where I am a member.

Looking forward to serving you
